Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten sich über einen Tagungsort zu informieren.
Online Videos sind optimal. Weitere Video Portale bietet das Internet reichlich.
Im Pulldown Menü finden Sie ein kleine Auswahl an Videos zu den aktuellen Tagungsorte.
Diese Videos liegen im aktuellen HTML5 Format als mp4 und ogg Datei vor. Sie benötigen keinen Player.
Wir haben den modernen HTML5 Player BO:VIDEOJS mit Bedienungsleiste im Portal integriert.
Leider haben sich die Browserhersteller noch auf kein einheitliches Videoformat einigen können. Deshalb müssen beim Einsatz eines HTML5 Video Players immer mehrere Videoformate angegeben werden, um eine möglichst große Kompatibilität zu den unterschiedlichen Browsern herzustellen. Wir haben alle Videos ins MP4 Format und ins OGG konvertiert. Diese sollten daher mit aktuellen Browsern Safari (Apple), Gecko/Firefox, Chrome und Opera abspielbar sein. Nur IE macht eine unrühmliche Ausnahme.
Im Moment sieht eine Auflistung für die gängigen Browser so aus:
- Gecko (Firefox, Camino): HTML5-OGG
- Webkit (Safari): HTML5-MP4
- Webkit (Chrome): HTML5-MP4/OGG
- Opera: HTML5-WEBM/OGG
- IE8: leider nur Flash.
Der ist schnell, schlank und sehr intuitiv und gut zu bedienen, aber das ist bekanntlich Geschmackssache.
